Frey Ranch Estate Distillery produces gin, vodka, bourbon whiskey, absinthe and other spirits using grains grown, distilled, malted and bottled on the historic, 1,200-acre Frey Ranch. The well-appointed, 4,000 square-foot distillery is located on a 1,200-acre plantation owned and operated by the Frey Family. With roots dating back to the 1850s, the Freys have been farming grains including wheat, corn, barley, rye and alfalfa in Nevada for more than a century.
Love the texture of your vodka. The mixture of grains really paid off!
I am the President and CEO of Universal Packaging. I just wanted to send you a quick email to tell you how much I like your Frey Ranch Vodka package and design. We are running it as I type this and I think your choice of the Seattle bottle along with the full wrap decoration and design is outstanding. I see a lot of bottles go through here every year and yours is now one of my favorites.
We had an opportunity to taste some of the spirit coming off the Frey Ranch still that's destined to become Frey Ranch Whiskey and it has extraordinary promise. Like the vodka, the whiskey showcases the four grains from the mash bill, but here they are the full and complete expression. We've never tried a white whiskey that had a better and clearer expression of the grain.
Clear color. Lively, interesting, exotic aromas and flavors of exotic tropical citrus and flowers, pink peppercorn, and spiced lemon custard with a soft, vibrant, fruity medium body and a tingling, complex, medium-long dried fruits in sweet cream, pepper, mineral ore, and herbal honey finish. A wonderfully, spicy and vivacious unflavored vodka that has a lot of character and personality for the category and will appeal to gin aficionados.
"The Frey Ranch is a true craft distillery taking the grain to bottle practice to a new level by growing and harvesting their grains. They have taken a cue from the wine world and have created a rare “Estate” distillery."
All of our spirits are produced from grains grown right here at Frey Ranch and are mashed, fermented, distilled, filtered, barreled and bottled just feet from where they were harvested. Over the next several years, we’re looking forward to establishing Nevada as a premier destination for craft wines and spirits.
